ANTARCTIC CLASSROOM
INFORMATION FOR TEACHERS
Antarctic Classroom would like to encourage reflection on the future of the planet and inspire kids to get involved!
Until mid November, a wide variety of educational activities will be proposed to classes:
• Daily mission reports, in words and images, and lots of information are available on our Internet site
• LIVE SEA-LINK: Sedna IV’s scientific team answers students’ questions via remote video conferences, live from Antarctica.
• Concrete environmental solutions, undertaken by our kids, are features in ANTARCTIC CLASSROOM
• A virtual mariner certificate will be issued by Mission Antarctica to all students participating in the Antarctic Classroom program
Teachers and educators who have participated in the Antarctic Classroom program maintain that these activities are stimulating for the kids and, above all, give them something to dream about. These educational activities build genuine awareness on the major environmental challenges that lay ahead and help create life models for our kids.
Because we believe in quality education accessible to all, we design our educational activities so that kids of all ages and from all walks of life can participate in Mission Antarctica. And because we believe education is priceless, our educational activities are completely free of charge! Many thanks to our sponsors and partners!
